The first member of his family to be born in Iowa, Jack grew up loving the City of Ames and its community, eventually graduating from Gilbert High School. Not wanting to leave the area, he attended Iowa State University. Jack enjoyed his brief time as a Census Enumerator for the 2020 Decennial Census, where he got to represent and interact more with his community, while also dealing with issues from the Covid-19 pandemic and the 2020 derecho. Having a passion for history and policy-making, he graduated with his B.A. in Political Science.

Taking what felt like a huge leap from home, Jack went on to attend Drake University Law School, focusing on Transactional Law. During his time as a law student, he worked at Conterra Ag Capital in West Des Moines and Iowa Legal Aid in Des Moines as a Legal Assistant. Jack also enjoyed his time and the invaluable experience he got as a Student Attorney working at the Drake Entrepreneurial and Transactional Legal Clinic.

Having graduated from Drake with his J.D. and M.B.A., as well as passing the Iowa Bar in 2025, Jack is excited to be back in his hometown, practicing law in the community he loves. Jack focuses his practice on Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning, Probate, Business Law, Real Estate Transactions, Contracts, and Zoning, Planning & Land Use. He also looks forward to branching out his practice into court-appointed criminal defense and guardianship.

Jack lives in North Ames, where he enjoys spending time with his family, and is a proud uncle to his baby nephew. You may find him walking around Ada Hayden Park or playing at one of Ames’ Disc Golf courses. He also enjoys collecting Legos and Pokemon cards, playing board games with friends and family, as well as playing computer games on his PC that he built.
